Asus G51J 3D is actually the first gaming laptop that is intended for stereoscopic 3D gaming using the 3D Vision active shutter glasses, although you can still play in 2D mode at 120Hz without any problems if you wish to. Asus did very well in designing a very nice and attractive looking laptop on the outside with an extensive set of features and quite powerful hardware inside. Along with the laptop you also get a nice bagpack to easily carry it everywhere with you along with Buy Xenical Online all the additional accessories and these include not only the bundled 3D Vision glasses, but also a gaming mouse in the form of Razer Abyssus, so you can actually be ready for gaming on the go and in S3D too…

Nvidia EcoBook is a DIY Project, based on the Pegatron Cape 7 mini PC using Intel Atom CPU and Nvidia ION chipset with the goal to turn one of these multimedia systems into a book and put it along other books on the shelf. The result is a good-looking and “invisible” multimedia computer system for the living room that you can connect directly to your big HDTV and browse the net, watch HD videos both online and offline and even play games that are not too demanding. In the video you can see a comparison with a commercially available PC – the AOpen MiniPC, but that one uses integrated Intel graphics and a normal mobile Intel CPU instead of a low power and energy efficient Intel Atom processor. Note that the EcoBook PC seems to be using dual-core CPU, but actually that is because of the HyperThreading support resulting in two logical cores seen by the OS and the processor being physically a single core. The recommended Os to install and use with this PC is Windows 7, because of the available GPU acceleration built-in directly in get prescription drugs without prescription the OS that can take advantage of the GPU performance that the integrated GPU in the Nvidia ION chipset has to offer. The 750GB WesternDigital Blue hard drive is not the typical height of 9.5 millimeters for a mobile HDD, but instead is 12.5 mm, but that is not an issue with this book design as there is enough space and having 750 gigabytes of space in such small size PC is great. The Pegatron Cape 7 has 1GB of integrated RAM, but it is good to add 1 GB more for achieving optimum performance not only for the system, but for the GPU too as the GeForce 9400M-like integrated graphics uses shared system memory for its needs.

If you are interested in the new 24-inch Full HD gaming display from Acer that is also 3D Vision compatible (120Hz panel) than you should check watch the unboxing video of the Acer Aspire GD245HQ above and then visit the full review at the 3D Vision Blog Buy Xenical Online Without Prescription where it was put to some extensive testing. In brief the Acer GD245HQ is better designed, better built and performing better than the first generation 120Hz displays from ViewSonic and Samsung. It has an updated list of parameters, offers less ghosting, and although it brings some other new possible issues, in general it is more of a good improvement. If you wanted this to be the perfect and absolutely problem free monitor for stereoscopic 3D gaming, like a lot of people did, you might be a bit disappointed, but that is because we all probably had set too high expectations for it.

How can you not be disappointed with your brand new Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard that you’ve bought just a few days ago (3 to be exact) for all around daily usage, including gaming of course and it starts to look like that in no time. The buttons that have non-slip rubber finish are easily scratched from nothing more than just typing on them…

And the plastic part of the keyboard that has mirror finish follows exactly the same pattern, very easily scratchable by just using the keys as you can see with the arrow keys. Now everything should’ve been normal and expected if that was some cheap no-name Chinese brand keyboard, but we are talking about Razer here – one of the top gaming buy drugs without a prescription hardware producers. And that exactly is the biggest disappointment… I kind of expected a more durable and good look retaining product from such an expensive device, aside from the good gaming performance and features that the keyboard packs.

It seems that the Acer Aspire GD245HQ will be marketed as Acer Aspire GD235HZ in some regions, but actually the two are one and the same hardware, just the part number is different for the different region. So when looking for this monitor look for both models as depending on which country you live in it might be any of the two available. Anyway the thing you should know is that they are one and the same, so it does not matter which one you get…

As you can see from the pictures the GD245HQ / GD235HZ monitor offers very stylish design and the word is that it won’t be much more expensive than the currently available 22-inch only 120Hz LCD displays. I’m talking about the 120Hz Samsung 2233RZ and ViewSonic VX2268wm 3D Vision-ready monitors that come with native resolution of 1680×1050 pixels and thus are not Full HD capable…

Now AMD also has to lower the price of the newly packaged CPUs to make everyone even happier…

It seems that Asus has found a better solution in to making the memory buy without a prescription slots on their motherboards. Notice “the cut” on the right side of the RAM slots on the Asus P7P55D LE Motherboard. They replaced the plastic holder with a metal bracket that holds the memory modules in their place. This also helps in not having to remove your video card (it if ti bigger) when you want to add or replace memory modules, because now there are no plastic holders that you need to open on the right side that will touch the VGA PCB. Good move Asus, now lets see if others will follow the example…

Running GPU-Z to see the parameters of ATI Radeon HD 4570 Mobile video card available in Acer Aspire 3D notebook something very interesting has caught my attention. As you can see in the video the memory of the VGA should be 800MHz (1600MHz DDR) and even when under load (FurMark running in the background) the video memory still runs at just 500MHz (1000MHz DDR). Now this might not seem to be that much of a problem at first, but when you think about it… this is 600 megahertz lower effective frequency for the memory and the 4570 video card is not that powerful, so actually we have a very serious issue here and you can blame it all on ATI and their shitty mobile video drivers and graphics hardware!

There is a kind of a solution to this problem, but it is just a kind of temporary workaround and not something that will solve the issue permanently. I’m talking about disabling the PowerPlay function from ATI Catalyst Control Center in order to get the maximum performance and the VGA memory running at 1600MHz instead of 1000MHz. The problem is that when you disable the PowerPlay you actually disable the power management ionamin without prescription and the video card will run at its maximum frequencies with or without load. This of course can significantly reduce the run time of a laptop when you are using it on a battery, but won’t make much of a difference when the power adapter is plugged in (besides the laptop using more energy and getting hotter). So you’ll have to disable the PowerPlay every time you need top performance for a while and then re-enable it when you are back to working in 2D and not requiring too much performance from the VGA.

I don’t know about you, but I’m very disappointed from ATI this time. And you should have in mind that I’m talking about a major issue that is not related to a single model or laptop vendor, but to every laptop with such GPU and maybe even other video card models!

This video shows the two 22-inch 120Hz LCD monitors side by side (Samsung 2233RZ and ViewSonic VX2268wm), connected with an Dual-Link DVI splitter cable to a single output of the video card in order to check if there is actually a difference in terms of input lag between the two displays. The video was shot at 240 fps in order to catch even small differences (use the pause button to compare), but the numbers on the timer stay the same on both monitors, meaning that neither one has more or less input lag than the other one.
