This clip demonstrates the weird and unexpected squeaking sound you can hear from your Razer Mamba Gaming Laser Mouse by using the scroll wheel. You can also hear the clicking sounds of the scroll and both buttons of the mouse which are fortunately OK and not too loud or too silent.
You have to open the mouse and readjust the small piece of board with the two SMD LEDs that goes inside the scroll wheel in order to fix this issue. This is the small pcb with markings R31, R32 on the image here: mamba inside
This fixed my problem with the weird noise, because they were coming from the rubbing of the tiny piece of board with the inside of the scroll wheel. Of course it is easier to RMA the mouse and get a replacement with no issues…
