How can you not be disappointed with your brand new Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard that you’ve bought just a few days ago (3 to be exact) for all around daily usage, including gaming of course and it starts to look like that in no time. The buttons that have non-slip rubber finish are easily scratched from nothing more than just typing on them…

And the plastic part of the keyboard that has mirror finish follows exactly the same pattern, very easily scratchable by just using the keys as you can see with the arrow keys. Now everything should’ve been normal and expected if that was some cheap no-name Chinese brand keyboard, but we are talking about Razer here – one of the top gaming buy drugs without a prescription hardware producers. And that exactly is the biggest disappointment… I kind of expected a more durable and good look retaining product from such an expensive device, aside from the good gaming performance and features that the keyboard packs.

This clip demonstrates the weird and unexpected squeaking sound you can hear from your Razer Mamba Gaming Laser Mouse by using the scroll buy medicine wheel. You can also hear the clicking sounds of the scroll and both buttons of the mouse which are fortunately OK and not too loud or too silent.

You have to open the mouse and readjust the small piece of board with the two SMD LEDs that goes inside the scroll wheel in order to fix this issue. This is the small pcb with markings R31, R32 on the image here: mamba inside

This fixed my problem with the weird noise, because they were coming from the rubbing of the tiny piece of board with the inside of the scroll wheel. Of course it is easier to RMA the mouse and get a replacement with no issues…
